An each-way bet consists of two wagers. The first is for the selection to win and the second is for the selection to achieve a place. If your selection wins both ‘Win’ and ‘Place’ your bet will be paid in full. If your selection does not win and only places then you will lose the “Win’ part of your bet and get paid out on the ‘Place’ according to the Fraction of Win Odds rule.

For example, if you place a £5 each-way bet on Virtual Sports priced 10/1 and it finished 2^nd; returns will be broken down as follows;

• The £5 win part is lost
• The £5 place is settled by dividing the price by the Fraction of win odds
• 10/1 paid at 1/4 odds = 6/4 multiplied by £5 stake = £12.50 payout
• 10/1 paid at 1/5 odds = Evens multiplied by £5 stake = £10 payout

In all virtual races, the number of runners shall be determined by the number of runners coming under the betting coupon. This will determine the Fraction of Win Odds that will be applied to the race.
